So here's a collection of random facts about yours truly.
1. Please don't ask me if I know who got eliminated from America Idol. I don't watch it, and chances are, I really don't give a damn.
2. I can't stand most reality TV shows. Mostly because it's lacking actual reality and there are too many of them running around. You want to watch real reality TV? Turn on C-SPAN and watch the NCAA Basketball Tournament or the MLB or NFL Postseason games.
3. I stared in a play when I was in the 6th Grade. Bye, Bye, Birdie was the production we put on for drama class, and I was the lead male, Albert.
4. I used to watch Crossfire with dad when I was seven, mostly because of the verbal fights between conservative and liberal pundits.
5. My birthmark is a heart-shape on the back of my head. Yes, you heard right. A heart-shape on the back of my head.
6. Mid to late 90's = I became a fan of the San Diego Padres. Even when they sucked after the 1998 season, I still stuck with them.
7. This is how big of an anime fan I became with the following shows:
Dragon Ball Z - I dressed up as Goku for Halloween in 2000.
Gundam Wing - I collected Gundam Wing models from some anime shop from 2000 to 2001.
Tenchi Muyo!/Universe/Tokyo - I read Tenchi Muyo! fan fiction.
8. How I became a lover of anime was though this cartoon show, Toonami on Cartoon Network. I don't mean the Naruto crap they have on now. I mean shows like Cowboy Bebob, Outlaw Star, DBZ, Tenchi Muyo, Gundam Wing, Cardcaptors, those kind of kick-ass, action-packed shows.
9. Guilty pleasures: girl/girl smut videos and Fergie.
10. I visit dad's side of the family in Texas every 3 years.
11. Up until the time I was nine, I used to cry every time me and my family left Vegas back for home.
12. I hate cheese.
13. I fell in love with movies when I watched Spirited Away when I was eleven or twelve. I had been a big fan of movies, but Spirited Away was the movie that shook all my pre-concieved ideas that a movie's purpose was to entertain its audience.
14. I am the Opinion Editor of my school newspaper, The Ranch Review. Its a position I am proud to be on, although there have been times I feel out of place in the class, due to the fact that, from my perspective, I don't have anyone who I can identify with.
15. I have a phobia of butterflies. I flinch whenever one gets close to me.
It's a blog about politics. And sports. And movies. And life. In fact, it's really all of the above. It's just the way I see it.

My new addiction: the good and the bad of Fan Fiction
So there's this site I just happened to stumble on, called Fan Fiction.net. Basically, the site brings together die-hard fans of anime, Star Wars, Harry Potter, and yes, even High School Musical, and it gives them a creative outlet to make up stories form their favorite books, movies, and TV shows.
Many of the writers on the site weave together compelling stories which suck you right in. And some writers just have sick, perverted minds altogether, making lemons for merely shock and awe.
Right now, and previously noted awhile back, I'm mostly reading the fan fiction for this anime show, Tenchi Muyo!, and as I said earlier, a lot of the writing is damned good. Here are a few of my favorites:
Love Note
The Journal of Pain
In the Heart of Kiyone
The absolute must reads are:
To the Victor Goes the Spoils
Hiatus
Of Dreams and Reality.
Then, there are the really perverted ones.
The Pirate and The Princess
I Want You (a Harry Potter fan fic)
And then, there's these two.
Despite the sex-addicted perverts, fan fiction.net rules. Definitely check out the site and read some of the stories. They might have whatever movie or show you're madly in love with over there.
Who knows, I may start writing some stories over there.
Stay tuned.

A Special Comment about Senator Clinton
First, let me state that I have noting but respect for Senator Clinton. She is an amazing politician, and her uncanny ability to stand up and fight back against the overwhelming forces of the conservative wing of the GOP, makes me wish that more Democratic members of the party had your kind of willingness to fight back.
However, I feel that your conduct on the campaign trail has shown an ugly light on you and your husband's legacy; as merely a political force that will say and do anything and everything to gain political power and to further your own cause; or by nature, a typical politician. I understand fully - that this game of two sides flinging shit at one another and letting the public figure out who's shit stinks less - is the nature of American politics, but from the 3 a.m. phone call ad, to Geraldine Ferraro's comments; they are the kind of dirty kind of hit-below-the-belt tactics I expect a candidate from the Republican party to engage in, but not from a Democrat, and certainly not from you or your campaign team.Your campaign is also the kind of politics that not only see your candidacy as divisive, but also the kind of bitch-fighting American voters, such as myself, that have left us disillusioned with the political process.
We are near the end of the Democratic nomination process, and many reports are claiming that Senator Barack Obama will more-than-likely lead in states won, pledged delegates, and in popular vote. Reports have also said that you will need to overwhelmingly win in the last few contests to catch up with Obama. Senator, If you should lose to Obama in Pennsylvania, or if you should win by the slimmest of margins, then I feel that you need to accept defeat and admit that Obama has won the nomination, for the good of the party. I feel thee continuation of this race is only helping your opponent, John McCain, in the long term, and also damaging the Democratic Party's chances of taking back the White House after the catastrophic eight years this nation has had to endure under George W. Bush's incompetent and secretive administration.
Please, Senator Clinton, it is time that you stopped stubbornly drag this race on for longer than it should have out of ego and pride after Pennsylvania and step down, should you do poorly in this contest.

New Rule: Hannity Needs to Look Into a Mirror
The next time he goes off on one of his self-righteous, holier-than-thou, reverse racism "reports".
This week, conservative commentator Sean Hannity was confronted about his own racist past on a Thursday edition of Hannity & Colmes by Malik Shabazz, of the New Black Panther Party.
As noted by Max Blumenthal of The Nation magazine, Hannity did have relations with one Hal Turner, back when he wasn't the pompous, nationally syndicated jackass we all know and love today.
Normally, Hannity's past dealings with a white supremacist would be swept under the rug, and it has been for quite sometime....that is until Hal Turner himself announced on his own blog that Sean had a relationship with him and said that they were friends at one time!
But, wait, there's more from Turner!
But that's not the worst of it, folks!
Sadly enough, even with this whopper, i'm betting that there's still gonna be some right-wingers who will find some inane way to defend this son of a bitch, unaware that they're the same people who were pissing and moaning about Obama's comment about his white grandmother.
Go figure.
This week, conservative commentator Sean Hannity was confronted about his own racist past on a Thursday edition of Hannity & Colmes by Malik Shabazz, of the New Black Panther Party.
Shabazz responded, “Let me ask you this. Are you to be judged by your promotion and association with Hal Turner?”
Hannity waved his arm around. “I don’t know anybody named – this is nonsense. I don’t…” Then Hannity changed his tune. “Sir, sir… That was a man that was banned from my radio show ten years ago, that ran a Senate campaign in New Jersey.”
Then, as Shabazz refused to stop talking or back down, Hannity, in a tacit admission, said, “I’m not running for president.”
“A neo Nazi, you backed his career,” Shabazz said.
Hannity answered, “That is an absolute, positive, lie and you’ve been reading the wrong websites (presumably, he meant ours), my friend. Good try.”
As noted by Max Blumenthal of The Nation magazine, Hannity did have relations with one Hal Turner, back when he wasn't the pompous, nationally syndicated jackass we all know and love today.
Turner was once a prominent activist in New Jersey's Republican Party. To area conservatives, he was best known by his moniker for call-ins to the Sean Hannity Show, "Hal from North Bergen." For years, Hannity offered his top-rated radio show as a regular forum for Turner's occasionally racist, always over-the-top rants. Hannity also chatted with him off-air, allegedly offering encouragement to Turner as he struggled to overcome a cocaine habit and homosexual leanings. Turner has boasted that Hannity once invited Turner and his son on to the set of Fox News's Hannity and Colmes. Today, Turner lurks on the fringes of the far right, spouting hate-laced tirades on his webcast radio show. Hannity, meanwhile, remains mum about his former alliance with the neo-Nazi, homing in instead on the supposed racism of black and Latino Democrats.......
During an August 1998 episode of the show, Turner reminded Hannity that were it not for the graciousness of the white man, "black people would still be swinging on trees in Africa," according to Daryle Jenkins, co-founder of the New Jersey-based antiracism group One People's Project. Instead of rebuking Turner or cutting him off, Hannity continued to welcome his calls. On December 10 of the following year, Turner called Hannity's show to announce his campaign to run for a seat in the US House of Representatives from New Jersey, and to attack his presumptive opponent, Democratic Representative Robert Menendez, as a "left-wing nut."
Normally, Hannity's past dealings with a white supremacist would be swept under the rug, and it has been for quite sometime....that is until Hal Turner himself announced on his own blog that Sean had a relationship with him and said that they were friends at one time!
Yes, we were friends and yes, Sean agreed with some of my views.
Recently, Barak Obama has come under serious scrutiny for attending a church whose Reverend Wright espouses anti-American and racist views. One media outlet that has been especially critical of Obama has been the show "Hannity & Colmes" on Fox News Channel.....I was quite disappointed when Sean Hannity at first tried to say he didn't know me and then went on to say that I ran some senate campaign in New Jersey. In fact, Sean Hannity does know me and we were quite friendly a number of years ago.
But, wait, there's more from Turner!
When Hannity took over Bob Grant's spot on 77 WABC in New York City, I was a well-known, regular and welcome caller to his show. Through those calls, Sean and I got to know each other a bit and at some point, I can't remember exactly when, Sean gave me the secret "Guest call-in number" at WABC so that my calls could always get on the air.
When I utlized that call-in number, Sean would very often come onto that line during commercial breaks so we could chat before I went on the air. Our off-the-air chats grew to an exchange of other phone numbers, me giving Sean my home and cellular number and Sean giving me his direct dial-in number at Fox News channel.
But that's not the worst of it, folks!
I can tell you from my firsthand, personal experience that Sean Hannity does, in fact, agree with many of my political and social views. I can also tell you that Sean Hannity disagrees with some of my political and social views. I won't go subject-by-subject to say which he agrees with and which he disagrees with. You can figure that out easy enough on your own! Suffice it to say that my recollection is that when Sean and I spoke by phone, while no one else was listening, he and I exchanged the kinds of views that most White, Irish-Catholic guys hold, but won't speak in public.
In my opinion, based on my first hand experience, I believe Sean Hannity is, in fact, a Hal Turner sort of guy. It seems to me that a big difference between Sean and me is that I am willing to say publicly what I think about savage Black criminals, diseased, uneducated illegal aliens and the grotesque cultural destruction wrought by satanic jews while Sean and many others keep quiet to protect their paychecks.
Another big difference is that I am perfectly willing to use force and violence against my enemies while Sean Hannity and others are not. Those using me as a prop to attack Sean Hannity would do well to remember this fact.
Sadly enough, even with this whopper, i'm betting that there's still gonna be some right-wingers who will find some inane way to defend this son of a bitch, unaware that they're the same people who were pissing and moaning about Obama's comment about his white grandmother.
Go figure.

They may as well rename the damn blog
I'm talking about Blogs for Victory, btw.
These mental midgets might as well rename their blog, Blogs for Igno(r)ance. On a day when Senator Obama asked us to address our racial differences and move forward as one America, Mark Noonan, Matt Margolis, and their herd of sheep continued with their drive to bring down an excellent choice for President.
As I stated before, they should rename the title, Blogs for Igno(r)ance.
It sums up the majority of stupid, intellectually-challenged, right-wing buffoons who post on this blog who can’t get over their own personal prejudices, who can’t see past what their near-messiah Rush Limbaugh tells them to think, who can’t see past any viewpoint because it challenges their long-held beliefs, who are incapable of accepting their fellow man because they happen to be of a different lifestyle.
It’s as if they wear the fucking badge of ignorance with honor.
Until these people get over themselves and begin to look at another person’s perspective and understand where they are coming from, these guys will never change.
If there wasn't a clear indicator on why I will never vote Republican in my lifetime, the treatment of Obama - a man who had to work his own way up, a man who is not only challenging the status quo in Washington D.C., but asking us, as Americans, to challenge ourselves - was the final nail in the coffin.

I grew in a house that accepted all races. Racism was not a part of my family or my upbringing.
However, as I get older and see how blacks behave. How racist THEY are. How white people have to bend over backwards to appease blacks. How white people do not get any special treatment like blacks do. How the hypocrisy is disgusting (black ent. TV; black scholarships, black this or that)…how It would never be tolerated to start a ‘White club’ or White ent TV, etc. How the Jessi Jacksons, Al Sharptons, etc. are the biggest hypocrite racists alive
How blacks are NOT even AFRICAN-American no more then I am African-American.
How blacks refuse to take responsibility for their own lives and keep blaming people from the past.
and I could on and on….
All of this BS is making me become a tad bit racist. Why do I lump all blacks into this now? Because I dont see ANY blacks denouncing any of this!!! Not one thing! And Obama stands for all of that - because he associates with people who stand for it.

How about we put Rev. Wright in a camouflage suit, send him anywhere, where Muslims rule, and see how long he preaches his sermon there, eh?
The thing is …. Rev. Wright has the freedom to spew hate and invective here in America, not so in other places.
He is an evil messenger.
I’ve never in my life, heard a pastor use profanity in the House of the Lord until I heard Rev. Wright.
Do you think Obama knows this? Sure he does … He’s right along with him … behind that smoke screen of “hope” is a man who hates America as much as his pastor … wanting very much to get into the White House so he can pass hate-crime bills against Christians.

Ok Obamabots, earlier Obama claimed he had not witnessed this type of diatribe. Today he says he did. Kinda fun waiting for the other shoe to drop.

We must use smaller words and speak slower so the fragile “minds” of our leftists aren’t negatively impacted or their heads start spinning or they start channeling Charlie Brown. They do provide some humor in the lack of scope of their “thinking” and their repetitive tactics at changing the subject on every thread - like bringing up McCain on this thread. Their repeated name-calling and accusations that those with whom they disagree are retarts, idiots, etc., shows the lack of any real arguments. Sometimes they cannot even figure out that there isn’t even a debate going on and declare it circular. Some on the left swallowed the Obama bait in his latest speech hook, line, and sinker. Most on the right see it for what it was, a feeble but inept attempt to change the subject just like the lefties here do when they cannot respond intelligently. Obama is caught and can’t get out of his trap with anything he’s tried yet. I’d better stop there to avoid spinning heads and having to listen to leftist complaints.
As I stated before, they should rename the title, Blogs for Igno(r)ance.

10,000 B.C. - All Talk, No Action

Going into 10,000 B.C., I knew full well of it’s intent: to merely entertain the masses; it’s not the kind of movie which leaves a lasting impression on it’s audience, nor is the film’s concept supposed to be original (10,000 B.C. is a remake of the 1966 movie One Million Years B.C.). You’re just supposed to turn your noggin off and go with it. I can forgive 10,000 B.C. for it’s awful, wooden manikin actors in model-turned actor Steven Strait, playing woolly mammoth hunter D’Leh (don’t ask about the name) and his love interest, Evolet (Camilla Bell), and I can forgive screenwriters Harald Klosser and Roland Emmerich for churning out such a dull and cliché-riddled script about how a mighty prehistoric civilization ravishes the native land of a tribe who’s name I cannot even begin to pronounce and how D’Leh travels across the known world to rescue his people and his beloved Evolet. What I can’t forgive, however, is how this pre-historical epic has no excitement, no thrill, and no pulse to it’s 109 minute runtime. Director Roland Emmerich, at least made movies that were definitely grade ‘A’ cheezy, but a hell of a lot of fun to watch like Independence Day and The Day After Tomorrow. Even the sequences with the man-eating ostriches, the wooly mammoth hunt, or the “supposedly” climatic battle between other enslaved tribes and the mega empire who build pyramids to honor their god had no feeling of danger or excitement. And the audience I was with at the Regal Rancho del Ray 16 on Sunday shared the same feeling as well, having not cheered or been taken aback with action ecstasy since the trailers of Wanted, Iron-Man, The Happening, and The Dark Knight played right before this lackluster wannabe epic.
