A Special Comment about Senator Clinton

First, let me state that I have noting but respect for Senator Clinton. She is an amazing politician, and her uncanny ability to stand up and fight back against the overwhelming forces of the conservative wing of the GOP, makes me wish that more Democratic members of the party had your kind of willingness to fight back.

However, I feel that your conduct on the campaign trail has shown an ugly light on you and your husband's legacy; as merely a political force that will say and do anything and everything to gain political power and to further your own cause; or by nature, a typical politician. I understand fully - that this game of two sides flinging shit at one another and letting the public figure out who's shit stinks less - is the nature of American politics, but from the 3 a.m. phone call ad, to Geraldine Ferraro's comments; they are the kind of dirty kind of hit-below-the-belt tactics I expect a candidate from the Republican party to engage in, but not from a Democrat, and certainly not from you or your campaign team.Your campaign is also the kind of politics that not only see your candidacy as divisive, but also the kind of bitch-fighting American voters, such as myself, that have left us disillusioned with the political process.

We are near the end of the Democratic nomination process, and many reports are claiming that Senator Barack Obama will more-than-likely lead in states won, pledged delegates, and in popular vote. Reports have also said that you will need to overwhelmingly win in the last few contests to catch up with Obama. Senator, If you should lose to Obama in Pennsylvania, or if you should win by the slimmest of margins, then I feel that you need to accept defeat and admit that Obama has won the nomination, for the good of the party. I feel thee continuation of this race is only helping your opponent, John McCain, in the long term, and also damaging the Democratic Party's chances of taking back the White House after the catastrophic eight years this nation has had to endure under George W. Bush's incompetent and secretive administration.

Please, Senator Clinton, it is time that you stopped stubbornly drag this race on for longer than it should have out of ego and pride after Pennsylvania and step down, should you do poorly in this contest.

Jonthan,I applaud. Excellent take and I agree.

If anything,my repect for Sen. Clinton has went down a tad during this race. She gives off an aura of wanting the presidency too badly, and to me that always spells doom.
